Marking the first day of Lent, Ash Wednesday falls on March 5 this year. In Bavaria, and particularly Swabia, we will stay away from meat dishes and serve a classical Kuechlein filled with eggs, milk and seafood. We will invite you to celebrate some beautiful Quiche today: We bake some Garnelen & bunte Paprika, Raeucherlachs & Fruehlings Blattsalat, Lachs & Lauch, Forelle & Spinat, Kabeljau mit Fenchel.
