Musik Schedule

From the Bavarian Grill Stein Club News:

A big "THANK YOU!" to the Stein Club members who helped to serve lunch to over 140 Habitat for the Humanities volunteers last Saturday.
Gwen, the habitat coordinator, wrote:
"Thank You very much again for the wonderful Bavarian Lunch on Saturday.

I am so happy Bavarian Grill and the Stein Club was able to be part of this very special day for us and all of the festivities of the day.
Thank you for your generosity, wonderful hospitality, and the great lunch, enjoyed by all.

I hope members of the Stein Club will join youth in construction of these two homes.
We DO NEED adult volunteers to work along side kids, especially during December and early January. We will also be building into February.

If any members want to build with us during the construction of the youth build houses, please contact Debbi Oliger- our Volunteer Coordinator for this project at 972-964-3646 OR e-mail at extremebuild@verizon.net.

We plan to do another build with youth next year.

Thank you VERY much again. We really enjoyed having the Bavarian Grill and Stein Club members!!

We served Deutsches Gulasch, Spaetzle, Krautsalat and Laugenbrez'n to the hungry home builders. In the middle, our Stein Club members are posing with 5 time Super Bowl Champion Charles Haley, who autographed many Bavarian Grill T-shirts. And on the right, Stein Club members are enjoing a Bier on the house after the hard work.

 You are looking at a Monastery that was founded by Duke Tassilo, and the monastery church was consecrated in 782 by Bishop Virgil of Salzburg. In 788 the monastery came into the possession of Charles the Great, and passed from him to his grandson Ludwig the German. After the Hungarian invasions, the monastery flourished for a long period from the 11th to the 15th centuries. In 1728-1732 the complex, by then in a poor state of repair, was finally rebuilt. After secularization it had a second founder in the person of King Ludwig I, who was responsible for the re-establishment of the monastery in 1837.
