Our Schnitzelfest is in full swing to celbrate the Oktoberfest. And we will kick off our 6th annual Plano Sunrise Rotary Oktoberfest here at the Bavarian Grill at 5 pm on Monday, October 15th with the traditional Oxen roast, the large roasted ham hocks and all the Bratwurst you can eat. You can enjoy this feast we the traditional Hofbrau Bier just as if you were in Munich. So, please come on over soon.

Stein Club Corner

Elections for the board coming up!

Regular Stein Club meetings are scheduled on the second Wednesday night of every even month. The Oktober Stein Club Meeting is scheduled for the 10th at 7 pm in the Biergarten. As our charter stipulates, we shall have an election for the new, or old, board every second year in October - so, please do yourself a favor and participate in this important Stein Club event which will set the tone for your Club for the next two years. At this point we have a group of regular Stein Club members spearheaded by Eddie Rose who are willing to steer the Club for the next two years.

If you like to take on any functions on the board or have any suggestions for the future of the Stein Club, please send us an email to bavarian@bavariangrill.com.

Our Spaten and Franziskaner Ambassador will join us and answer any questions you may have regarding this famous Munich brewery.

Stein Club November Dinner to feature Eisbein

Another delightful fall treat awaits Bayern Stein Club members and other guests on November 14th, when we will enjoy Eisbein, the slow cooked, giant ham hock speciality along with the appropriate side dishes of Sauerkraut, mashed potatoes and pea puree. Since the lighter Pilsner style Biers are popular with this dish, two half-liters of Bitburger will be included with the dinner.

This will also give us another opportunity to discuss the plans of the new board that was elected in the upcoming elections in October. If you like to take on any functions on the board or have any suggestions for the future of the Stein Club, please send us an email to bavarian@bavariangrill.com.

The cost is $29.75, $24.75 for Stein Club members.
