Minutes by the Secretary: Gary Coats

1. The Stein Club meeting was called to order at 7 PM Dec. 6 2006 by president Phillip Walden. This was the annual Christmas meeting. Each of the approximately 60 members in attendance was given a raffle ticket and tickets for two steins of bier with a choice between Spaten Helles or Spaten Oktoberfest. Very tasty hors d’oeuvres prepared by the Bavarian Grill cullinary staff were provided by Juergen and appreciated by all present.

2. Juergen thanked all present for coming and also thanked those who had assisted recently in feeding the workers at the Habitat build. He also announced the 13 th annual Bavarian Grill Stein Club Holiday Food and Toy Drive. Canned and other dry food items or new toys can be brought to the Bavarian Grill any time during the next few weeks. The food and toy collection site is by the bar in the front entryway. Juergen announced that the next BSC special dinner will be brats and kale. Steins were passed around to collect tips for the wait staff.

3. President Phillip Walden also addressed the group. He emphasized the Christmas basket and thanked everyone for coming.

4. Craig, the Spaten representative next gave away a number of items to the members present by drawing numbers from a stein assisted by Barbara. These included two special steins, a wall clock, T shirts, embossed glasses, caps, a windbreaker, bartender tool, and bottle cap signs.

5. The meeting was adjourned at 8:00.
